Project Manager – Anaheim

The person who fills this position will be responsible for managing complex e-commerce and/or content Web site initiatives. Duties will include:

Driving the execution of the project across the Creative, Technology, and Business Development teams
Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project
Ensure every necessary step to complete project is accounted for in project plan
Clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies
Manage day-to-day tasks and have in-depth involvement to allow for early identification of potential challenges
Manage project scope and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made
Manage budget from creation through project completion
Weekly project status updates to management
Issue, risk and change management
Insure on-time project deliverables
Confidently lead, motivate, influence and drive progress
Proactively make decisions
Evaluate business requirements and ensure that projects fulfill stated objectives.
Estimate timelines, budgets and resources on a per-project basis
Provide reports to executive leadership on project status
Meet established annual goals for development and maintenance projects
Develop guest-facing interfaces that are in line with offline levels of Disney guest service


Operating Budget: Generally $50K to $350K

# Of Indirect Reports (including contractors and temporaries): varies with project work, up to 5+

Years of experience: 3 to 5 years experience with travel commerce systems and/or content management systems, preferably as a project manager.
